2. Material and Medium Characteristics

  • The Maxcross Graphic Kit adopts pre-finished 3M Scotchgard Paint Protection Film without adhesive base layers. Featuring excellent overall performance and high stability, the material integrates great light transmittance, flexibility and wear resistance with easy installation, fully meeting diverse protective application requirements. Its core material characteristics are listed as follows:

2.1 Material Appearance and Light Transmittance

  • Made of 3M transparent protective vinyl, the material features a transparent, pure and ultra-smooth surface with no discoloration or haze. Thanks to its high light transmittance, it will not obscure the original color and texture of the substrate. After lamination and installation, it can restore the original appearance of the substrate to the greatest extent, combining reliable protection and premium visual texture for versatile decoration and protection scenarios.

2.2 Material Thickness Specifications

  • The standard thickness of the material ranges from 26.5mil to 29.5mil (0.65mm to 0.75mm). The optimized thickness prevents insufficient protection and vulnerability caused by overly thin materials, as well as stiffness, poor adhesion and edge lifting issues of over-thick materials, perfectly balancing flexibility and structural protection performance.

2.3 Adhesive Properties

  • The product is equipped with 3M 468MP 200MP reusable double-sided adhesive base layer, featuring repeated repositioning and zero residue after removal. The adhesive maintains stable performance during installation fine-tuning and disassembly. It leaves no residual glue on the substrate and requires no additional cleaning, effectively reducing installation and maintenance costs with outstanding reusability and practicality.

2.4 Removal Method

  • The film supports heat-assisted removal. Moderate heating softens the adhesive and film material for effortless disassembly. The removal process is simple and convenient, causing no abrasion, scratches or damage to the underlying substrate, and perfectly adapts to subsequent maintenance and replacement.

2.5 Comprehensive Physical Properties

  • This 3M protective film delivers excellent ductility and reliable wear-resistant protection. With superior stretchability, it can be seamlessly laminated on curved and irregular surfaces without cracking or wrinkling. Its outstanding scratch and abrasion resistance effectively resists daily friction, minor collisions and gravel scuffs, providing long-term protection, delaying surface aging and wear, and greatly extending the service life of the substrate.

 

3. Printing and Die-Cutting Process

  • To solve common defects of conventional vehicle decals, including delamination, color distortion and insufficient adhesion, our product abandons traditional composite processing methods. We adopt exclusive mirror reverse UV printing + high-precision die-cutting technology to simplify composite structures, enhance color adhesion and lamination stability, and comprehensively improve product durability and visual quality. The complete production process is as follows:

3.1 Elimination of Traditional Outdated Processes

  • Most mainstream products on the market adopt the conventional process of printing on white base vinyl via eco-solvent inkjet printing and then laminating a transparent PVC protective film. This method has inherent drawbacks. Affected by temperature fluctuations, humidity, sunlight and other external factors, the outer PVC protective film is prone to delamination, separation, peeling and edge lifting from the printing substrate, resulting in short service life and poor stability. We completely eliminate this outdated process to avoid delamination risks from the source of production.

3.2 Integrated Penetrative Mirror Reverse UV Printing

  • Free of redundant composite layers, our product requires no underlying vinyl base or outer PVC lamination. Mirror reverse UV printing is performed directly on 3M Scotchgard Paint Protection Film. With high-power UV curing, specially formulated low-solvent UV ink firmly embeds into the film surface and slightly penetrates into the medium interior, integrating the ink with the film material as a whole. This fundamentally prevents color peeling, fading and flaking, achieving permanent color adhesion.

3.3 Dual-Layer Curing for Optimized Color Rendering

  • After the colored UV ink is fully cured by professional LED illumination, a layer of white UV ink is sprayed on top to serve as a dedicated white base for mirrored printed patterns. This effectively boosts color saturation, covers stray hues, eliminates translucent color deviation, and greatly improves color reproduction accuracy, delivering vivid, delicate and consistent colors on the front side of the 3M protective film.

3.4 High-Performance 3M Adhesive Lamination

  • After printing and curing, 3M 468MP/200MP baseless double-sided adhesive with a thickness of 0.13mm and sufficient glue content is laminated on the white ink base. Featuring stable performance and long-lasting adhesion, this adhesive bonds excellently with smooth substrates such as plastics. It supports flexible installation and repositioning: spraying a dilute detergent solution on the adhesive surface reduces instant viscosity, allowing repeated fine positioning. The adhesive leaves no residue and causes no substrate damage after removal, ideal for long-term application and later maintenance or replacement.

3.5 High-Precision Flatbed Die-Cutting

  • All finished products are processed by flatbed high-precision die-cutting machines. Equipped with automatic edge positioning systems, the equipment performs precise cutting within preset bleed margins to ensure accurate dimensional specifications. Finished products feature smooth, burr-free edges with zero cutting deviation, realizing standardized production and enabling precise installation in diverse scenarios.

 

4. Reinforced Packaging

  • To withstand bumps, extrusion, impact and other logistics risks during long-distance global transportation and ensure intact product delivery, we adopt a multi-layer internal and external reinforced packaging solution. The multi-protection structure stabilizes product shape and fundamentally avoids displacement, wrinkles, deformation and damage, ensuring consistent finished product quality upon delivery.

4.1 Internal Shape Support
  • Lightweight KT boards are applied inside the package for structural support. Featuring excellent flexural resistance and stable rigidity without adding extra shipping weight, KT boards can closely fit and support products of diverse and irregular shapes. They effectively prevent bending, collapse and shape distortion under external pressure and maintain the original product profile.

4.2 Vacuum Sealed Wrapping
  • Products are wrapped with thickened PVC plastic bags and professionally vacuum-sealed. The vacuum treatment enables the PVC film to closely attach to the product surface and eliminate internal gaps. This restricts product sliding and displacement during transit, prevents wrinkles and deformation caused by continuous jolting, and provides additional dustproof and moisture-proof protection for product surfaces.

4.3 External Clamping Reinforcement
  • After internal sealing, two thick corrugated cardboard sheets clamp the product from top and bottom with external reinforcement. With outstanding compression resistance and cushioning performance, corrugated boards effectively buffer external impact and squeezing force. They further fix the product position, prevent loosening and shifting, and comprehensively upgrade packaging protection performance.
